In this period of the COVID-19 pandemic, some neurologic features related to the disease have been described. The virus' neurotropism induces complications in the central and peripheral nervous system.1 Apart from these direct consequences, some indirect neurologic conditions linked to patient management may potentially emerge, mainly due to prolonged stays in intensive care units. We present the case of a patient with cranial nerve paralyses following orotracheal intubation consistent with classic Tapia syndrome.
